Our Finance Department has an opportunity available for a knowledgeable and experienced Management Accountant to join us temporarily.

In this role, you will provide dedicated accounting support by producing the UK monthly management accounts and accomplishing key financial close & day-to-day activities efficiently.

You will be an essential asset in supporting the Accounting team in driving forward projects and achieving business objectives. The role involves cross-department collaboration, interacting with senior stakeholders, financial reporting, and implementing process improvements.

What will I be doing? ????

  • Preparation and timely delivery of monthly management accounts including insightful commentary.
  • Full exposure and analysis across both Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
  • Monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and intercompany.
  • Quarterly compiling and filing of the UK VAT Return (HMRC - UK Tax Office).
  • Supervise and manage the weekly Client invoicing.
  • Management of the weekly Supplier payments and Cash Flow forecast and control.
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement robust processes.
  • Cross-department collaboration inclusive of attending and speaking in business meetings.

What do we need from you? ????

  • Fully/partially qualified CIMA, ACCA, or AAT with a track record of delivering monthly reporting.
  • A minimum of 3 years of previous experience in management accounting.
  • Experience in supporting UK legal entities, knowledge of HMRC VAT submissions, and audit requirements.
  • Strong Excel skills and ideally exposure to an integrated ERP system and Coupa (Oracle Netsuite a plus).
  • Excellent communication/written skills in English.
  • Driven to support and implement continuous improvement to processes.
