MOO set out to shake up the world of print back in 2006. And we’ve come a long way since. Today we’re a 400 + strong team (we’re thinking of getting matching jackets) who create print and digital products for companies of all sizes – from Google and AirBnB to the guy who makes those amazing prints you found at a craft fair.
Our global HQ is in London, UK, while we also have premises in Dagenham. In the US, you’ll find us in Boston, MA, as well as East Providence, RI and Denver, CO.
We’re making new and exciting things – and we could really do with your help.
The Finance team today consists of a team of 14 spread between our UK (London) and US (Rhode Island and Massachusetts) locations. As a team, we are an integral part of the business, providing support for all financial matters and contributing to business growth and transformation. We are responsible for all internal and external finance reporting, cash management, company taxes, revenue collections, supplier maintenance and payroll.
MOO is seeking an ambitious, driven and organised individual to join as a key member of the senior finance management team. In this role you will have a broad remit across the spectrum of the Group’s financial operations with a specific focus on owning the delivery of UK financial information and Group wide commercial cost control and business partnering. This role manages a team of 2 and reports into the Group Finance Manager. This is an exciting time to join MOO’s finance team as we are looking to implement significant improvements in process and controls across the business. In addition, we are seeking to extensively develop and improve Group-wide visibility and control of our cost base, developing the education, support and analysis to do so. This role will be pivotal in delivering both of these key objectives.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong commercial awareness and have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to effectively prepare and communicate financial information to a wide group of stakeholders including those with non-finance backgrounds. You will have strong technical abilities to oversee preparation of MOO’s UK monthly management accounts and advise the team and Senior Management on technical accounting matters. You will have experience managing people and demonstrate a willingness and desire to mentor, guide and develop your team. As an individual you will have a proven aptitude and appetite to develop systems and processes to drive efficiencies and bring others with you on those journeys.
