What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Growth Marketing & Operations, the global Director of Performance Marketing & Operations will be responsible for uncovering the most relevant insights that empower our business teams to sell. We’re looking for a storyteller who gets excited about simplifying data and building relationships.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global performance marketing strategy including ABM campaigns designed to acquire new customers & grow existing accounts
  • Partner across the marketing (digital, events, editorial & content, product marketing) to define & develop strong cross-channel marketing campaigns
  • Be a trusted partner to leaders on our business development team by providing actionable marketing insights to drive growth in key accounts & obsess about lead quality to ensure only the best leads get routed to the business
  • Own the automation roadmap, which includes;
  • Quarterly needs assessments across the marketing org
  • Prioritize and plan out roadmap in collaboration with team and agency
  • Report back on results of enhancements
  • Own our marketing technology stack and help the team to assess and prioritize new technology along with our partners in technology operations
  • Supreme attention to detail to prevent issues from arising and great at trouble-shooting and resolving quickly, if they do.

Who you are:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • You have 12+ years of work experience and 5+ years’ experience in B2B marketing with demonstrated lead, pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce and Marketo), familiarity with analytic tools (Bizible, Excel, Tableau)
  • You have deep experience with Marketo (10+ years & Marketo certified), SFDC, and related platform integrations (i.e. Splash, zoom, etc) .
  • Experience working with and presenting to sales teams
  • Compelling storyteller obsessed with performance motivated to simplify complexity.
  • High EQ with the ability to build relationships across large teams and thrive in fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented, take-ownership attitude, self-organizing and highly skilled in time management to facilitate involvement in multiple projects
  • Able to work independently with autonomously and communicate up, down and laterally to project stakeholders
  • You are data driven, and a continual learner. You’re always researching new strategies and techniques to continuously improve your programs. 
  • You are both equal parts strategist and practitioner. Hands-on experience is necessary. 
  • You are goal oriented and not afraid to set stretch targets and potentially fall short.
  • You have excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
  • Must thrive in a fast paced, iterative, deadline driven environment
  • Willing to travel.

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is

$181,800—$227,200 USD
