What You’ll Do

The Business Development - Entertainment EMEA Summer (June-August) Intern will be trained in the nuts and bolts of the brand licensing business. You'll be mentored by experienced internal leaders who will advise and help you succeed and develop exceptional business acumen. You will be trained and assist in generating new business by identifying and qualifying leads to join Authentic's global network of licensing partners in the wholesale, retail, and online marketplace sectors. From identifying target licensing partners and executing top-notch qualification tactics, you will gain 360-degree knowledge of expanding Authentic's partnership universe. 

What you’ll be working on

  • Research on focus areas and companies for key growth for the Business Development 
  • Outline new potential opportunities for Authentic Entertainment Properties 
  • Support the team with meetings, presentation materials, notes on calls, etc.
  • Learn various ways to structure deals when it comes to entertainment properties (Licensing Deals, Endorsements, Appearances, etc.)
  • Learn how to craft professional emails and responses
  • Learn how to work with senior executives in a high-net worth company
  • Build a personal and professional network 

Must Haves

  • Currently enrolled university student.
  • Able to work up to 20 hours per week
  • Able to work onsite in our London office
  • Willingness to get your hands dirty and make things happen.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortability in a high-paced, collaborative environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and G Suite
  • Process-driven and constantly looking for ways to streamline and simplify complex tasks
