As a Data Visualization and Customer Frontend Engineer (d/m/w/x) you will be responsible for the development and delivery of user-friendly customer frontends and dashboards and thus provide an important building block for the MBMC's portfolio of offerings and solution development expertise. As part of an interdisciplinary team of highly motivated colleagues, you will work together with our data science and engineering teams to understand and implement our clients' requirements. Across all departments, you will enable data- and technology-driven solutions to answer the strategic challenges of Mercedes-Benz.
You will face these challenges:
- Advising departments on identifying actionable trends and patterns in the data to continuously improve data visualizations
- Responsibility for drafting, designing and building sophisticated, modern and user-friendly customer frontends, dashboards and visualizations to translate complex data into simple and intuitive formats
- Plan, coordinate and implement in collaboration with our interdisciplinary consulting, data analytics and engineering teams to ensure applications and frontends are aligned with our clients' requirements
- Ensure scalability and reliability of data visualizations and client front-ends
- Secure application of agile software development processes and management of implementation in cooperation with our international teams as well as selection of and cooperation with external development partners.
- Presenting results to the right audience and deriving recommendations for action in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Leading (sub-)projects with issues relating to data visualization and data-driven decision support
Qualifikationen
Ideally you have the following:
- Successfully completed studies in data science, computer science, economics, statistics or comparable disciplines
- Several years of experience in the development of user-friendly customer frontends and data visualizations
- Sound knowledge and experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and ReactJS
- Sound knowledge of data visualization tools such as D3.js, Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
- Ability to translate complex data into simple and understandable formats
- Ability to work effectively with other departments and stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
