As a DFT Product Engineer in the DRAM Technology group, you will be part of a forward-thinking team of engineers that solves complex problems to develop industry-leading DRAM. In this role, you will have an in-depth understanding of semiconductor memory product device functionality and expert capability on the test manufacturing code and testing techniques used to develop, implement, validate, and ensure device performance. You will engage on new technology at design start to cultivate DFT and Micron Component Test flow philosophy on cutting-edge DRAM architectures. This will be accomplished through innovation and by cross-functional engagement with partner groups; Design, Test, Technology Development, Marketing, Manufacturing and Quality Assurance departments.

What's Encouraged Daily

  • Develop test coverage and characterization methods and techniques on new, cutting-edge DRAM architectures
  • Enable new process node startup, qualification, yield, and ramp
  • Support design and test verification and validation using CAD tools and simulations
  • Provide ideas for new DFT and architectures to support enhanced test capability that results in future quality, yield, and test time improvements
  • Utilize state-of-art in house engineering equipment to support product characterization and electrical failure analysis
  • Perform electrical failure analysis and yield improvement using data, bench, and production test analysis techniques
  • Leverage failure analysis results to modify existing test strategies to improve quality and yield
  • Facilitate test time improvements through test flow and pattern optimizations
  • Collaborate with internal engineering groups; Test Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Design, Technology Development, Design for Test, and Quality teams to provide test guidance to understand quality, yield, and test time issues and priorities

How To Qualify

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent
  • 8+ years experience
  • Proven industry DRAM Experience
  • Familiarity with DRAM architecture, operation, testing, design, and process
  • Good understanding of DFT and memory testing and characterization strategies
  • Experience with Shell Scripts (Perl, Unix, Batch, Python, etc.)
  • Experience with Automated Test Equipment
  • Circuit-level simulation (Verilog/Analog) using Cadence and debug experience
  • Effective written and spoken communication skills
  • Good organizational skills, able to make decisions in complex situations
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Self-motivation and enthusiasm
