Outpatient Pharmacy Tech Trainee - full-time, part-time, and per diem

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Pharmacy Technician Trainee performs those duties which do not require the professional training and judgment of a pharmacist. Duties include, but aren’t limited to, filling prescriptions, answering to customers and their inquiries, providing excellent customer service, updating patient records, keeping the pharmacy clean, neat and organized, ensuring proper inventory management, dealing with insurance companies and completing tasks as assigned. The ideal employee will be excited about serving the needs of others and becoming part of a dynamic team. A sign on bonus of $3,000 is being offered to external candidates – paid out at 6 months and 1 year from hire! Great benefits are also offered with the company. This is a great opportunity to learn a new area and skills that can help you grow with the company and help you grow a career.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED required. Trainee will obtain their Pharmacy Tech license with the State of Vermont Board of Pharmacy before the start of employment. They must achieve their National Certification within two years of their date of hire.

EXPERIENCE:

Pharmacy experience preferred or related work experience. However, will consider someone with a strong customer service background. 

This is a grant funded position.
