Your role

Forto is looking to appoint an exceptionally talented commercial finance manager for its commercial finance function to join an already highly accomplished team. The role sits in the Finance department reporting to the Commercial Finance Lead. We are seeking an entrepreneurial, hands-on Commercial Finance person who can help to bring step change to the commercial finance department. This is a fascinating point at which to join a successful business, a strong brand, and IPO ambitions.

You will

• Build and manage the monthly volume rolling forecasting model for commercial steering, shipment capacity procurement and operations hiring
• Commercial steering, reporting and analysis of commercial KPIs/business cases
• Manage weekly commercial steering deck and help steer the weekly commercial meeting
• Financial modeling and ROI estimates of business initiatives and support decision making process with research, data and analysis
• Facilitate commercial reviews and controlling of commercial organization 
• Identify and promote new innovative ideas and challenge established practices, defend your thesis in front of the senior management of commercial and finance teams

What you bring 

• 2-4 years of previous work experience in similar financial or commercial role 
• A solutions oriented analytical mindset, strong business judgment, forward thinking, innovative, continuous improvement mindset
• Detail oriented with the ability to keep an eye on the big picture
• Ability to translate strategic concepts into numbers
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and complex modeling
• Entrepreneurial thinker with hands-on mentality and the ability to remain agile in a continuously changing environment
• Senior and cross functional stakeholder management in commercial, operations, finance and business analytics and ability to pitch / defend ideas to senior team
