POSITION SUMMARY:

The HBSE Digital Marketing and Product Team leads the centralized strategy and raises the bar for execution of our email, paid media, fan insights, and digital product programs. We are the primary drivers of digital customer acquisition and digital fan engagement on behalf of the New Jersey Devils, Philadelphia 76ers, and Prudential Center. We are looking for a Director to lead our Digital Product Management Team, ideating, designing and delivering strategic digital products and overseeing management of our digital products, primarily our websites and mobile applications. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Strategy and Analytics, the Director will drive revenue and fan engagement via our digital products to meet HBSE goals while helping to deliver a robust fan experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE BELOW:

  • Create strategic development plans for and oversee management of the Philadelphia 76ers website and mobile app.
  • Support website, app and related digital product management for the HBSE family of brands.
  • Drive SEO optimization of the HBSE family of websites
  • Lead digital product analytics efforts, ensuring best in class measurement and reporting of our digital products performance.
  • Lead and communicate digital marketing best practices and improve organizational understanding of the role of digital products in achieving company objectives.
  • Manage the Digital Products Team, including web developers, content publishers, SEO managers and outside vendors through the entire product marketing and management cycle including ideation and initial planning, budgeting, development, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting.
  • Work closely with peer organizations to optimize fan engagement, further driving ticket sales and sponsorship revenue.
  • Collaborate with CRM and digital marketing teams to connect and align digital products with email, paid media and related sponsorship and fan engagement campaigns.
  • Recognize the sports and entertainment industry requires flexibility in working extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant digital product experience
  • Experience with developing, launching and managing websites and mobile apps, including management of A/B testing programs
  • Experience with search engine optimization to hit organic impression, CPA, ROAS, and Engagement goals
  • Extensive knowledge of Google and/or Adobe Analytics
  • Experience creating reports and recommendations based on product performance
  • Ability to multi-task between concurrent assignments, prioritize effectively, and adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles; detail oriented and works well under pressure
