Responsibilities

As a Vice President of Digital Advertising, you'll work with a diverse range of clients, including corporations, associations, nonprofits, and issue advocacy groups. Your role is pivotal in creating creative and impactful deliverables to help clients achieve their goals.

A successful applicant to this role will:

  • Lead day-to-day accounts for nonprofit, corporate advocacy, and coalition clients.
  • Manage a team of digital advertising experts, providing innovative and strategic support to achieve client objectives.
  • Collaborate across our public affairs and creative teams to execute issue advocacy campaigns, liaising directly with clients, media buyers, and vendors.
  • Conceptualize, develop, and implement digital advertising campaigns across various platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, programmatic, CTV, and more.
  • Oversee project workflows and mentor junior team members with guidance from team leads.
  • Ensure that team deliverables meet the highest quality standards.
  • Act as a thought leader, working closely with team leads to align strategies with client goals.
  • Contribute to new business development by generating ideas and leads, and assisting in drafting new business proposals.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a paid media role with a focus on digital planning and buying.
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape and a clear strategy for successful ad campaigns.
  • Proficiency in setting up ads on platforms like Facebook, Google, and Snap, and orchestrating direct buys with connected TV and programmatic partners.
  • Background in campaigns or political organizations is a plus, particularly in persuasion and mobilization programs.
  • Deep knowledge of reporting and analytics, with an ability to measure the effectiveness of paid campaigns.
  • Experience leading a digital-first creative process from scripting to final delivery.
  • Adaptability and a track record of acquiring new skills to leverage emerging buying opportunities or platform modifications, especially in configuring precise targeting strategies for political campaigns.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Proven success in business development is highly desirable.

Benefits

SKDK is committed to pay equity. SKDK believes the target range of base compensation in this role is $90,000-$110,000. In addition to base salary, SKDK considers other key components as part of total compensation, including but not limited to an annual discretionary bonus, commission on new business, and a comprehensive benefits package. Actual base compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, such as skillset, level of experience, and location.
