St. Francis Animal Hospital in Milwaukee, WI is thrilled to announce that our brand-new hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our innovative and energetic team! This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced veterinarian seeking strong mentorship and the ability to practice autonomous medicine.

About our Hospital: St. Francis Animal Hospital is a gorgeous, spacious, well-established, full-service, small animal, a veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, preventative, surgical, and dental care to St. Francis, Cudahy, and West Milwaukee areas. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local board specialists when special diagnostic procedures are required. Our facility includes an in-house surgery suite and in-house digital x-ray capabilities.

About This Opportunity:

  • As a veterinary professional, you already have a pretty good idea as to the day-to-day requirements of being an exceptional small animal Veterinarian. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Examine and triage pets to promptly diagnose their short- and long-term health issues and recommend best practice treatment.
  • Consult with clients and referring clinics regarding immediate, solution-based care for their pets.
  • Performing or the desire to learn soft tissue, ophthalmic, dental, and foreign body removal procedures.

About You:

  • You genuinely care for pets, your fellow team members, and clients.
  • You appreciate a team environment and have the willingness to learn new things as well as mentor your colleagues when needed.
  • You understand that attention to detail and documentation are as essential as critical thorough diagnostic expertise.
  • Wisconsin Veterinary License – active and in good standing.
  • Leadership mindset with a desire to advance at our practice and be a strong mentor to our team.
  • Personable with strong communication skills.
