The Role

We are looking for the future staff accountant to be an integral part of achieving the finance department goals such as assisting us in streamlining TT’s complex financial close processes as well as making recommendations for improvements and for a more effective financial close. Looking for an energetic candidate, with high analytical skills who can work independently as well as a part of a team.

Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare general ledger account analyses and their respective journal entries for global entities.
  • Prepare and maintain financial management reports.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of complex financial reporting.
  • Review, research and interpret current and historical financial data and resolve departmental inquiries concerning financial reports.
  • Document and monitor internal controls.
  • Assist with accounting system process enhancements and software upgrades, including testing and training.
  • Assist in the annual audits and other regulatory audits that occur during the year.
  • Assist management with special projects and ad-hoc analyses.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
  • 1-3 years of related experience, preferably in the professional services industry.
  • Advanced English skills: listening, speaking, writing and reading
  • Experience with computerized ledger systems, Deltek Vision, Blackline and Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
  • Strong MS-Excel skills. 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
  • The role will require analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask, follow through and meet deadlines within tight timeframes.
