Our Design and Technology Enablement teams are working on the development of a broad portfolio of semiconductor technologies ranging from 350 nm down to 12nm including FD-SOI, RF, High-Voltage and automotive applications.
Introduction
The candidate for this position will be responsible for developing code to enable infrastructure for the DFM global organization. This involves developing web based and UNIX based applications in a team of engineers. Your work will enable quality assurance for DFM decks released to foundry customers and provide support to DFM developers globally.
Your Job
- Work with global DFM developers and major EDA partners (Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor, Magma) to realize process aware IC design platform.
- Work with Design Technology Enablement and Manufacturing teams globally to build-up DFM infrastructures capability that improves work efficiency.
- Perform rigorous DFM QA (Quality Assurance) checks to ensure high quality DFM design kits for customer and IP vendors usage.
- Trainings and equipping skills will be provided, includes EDA tool usage and advance programming skills.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. Requires a technical (University) degree (Exceptions approved by local HR).
- Demonstrated programming skills in two of the following: Python, C/C++, Java, Perl, Tcl, and/or Makefile
- Working UNIX knowledge
- Language Fluency - English
- Excellent technical communication skills
- Excellent working attitude, teamwork, and initiatives
- Excellent attention to details
- Independence in task execution
- Passion for problem solving and innovation
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Specialized knowledge, imaginative thinking and sophisticated analytical techniques.
- BS + 4-5 years of experience or MS + 2-4 years or PhD + 1-2 year
- Database scripting (mySQL, Oracle, or similar)
- Experience in rule deck development (LVS / DRC / DFM / PERC / Layout profiling) using Siemens-Mentor SVRF/TVF or equivalent.
