The incumbent is accountable for providing general engineering and technical support to the Jackson facility to ensure the maintenance and development of site technical integrity across all engineering disciplines in accordance with local, state, Federal and LYB standards. The incumbent will also provide small project management capability at the local level as well as, process engineering input to larger site expansion projects.
1) Manage site engineering and small project activities to ensure ongoing development of site technical integrity, infrastructure and production capability.
2) Manage site CAPEX budget.
3) Provide LYB on-site small project management capability.
4) Site Engineering standards and management systems.
5) Regulatory Engineering/ support of HSE initiatives and Operation Clean Sweep.

7) Personnel Development/Coaching
Education:
Degreed Engineer, with concentration in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
Work Experience:
5-7 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within a LYB or similar high integrity engineering environment. Compounding or resins, either operations, maintenance, projects or technical support experience preferable.
Licenses & Certifications:
None required.
Skills:
Project management skills are preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Business management skills, or ability to achieve a budget/spend to sustain operations.
