The Team/Role

The SMB Growth team enables small businesses' success at scale via TikTok advertising solutions that deliver value for our customers. As part of the SMB Growth team, this role will be to gain a deep understanding of the customers needs & advertising scenarios of our SMB advertiser base in commerce verticals, to develop tailored advertising strategies and narratives, and to bring them to market by partnering with a range of cross-functional teams across the world.

Responsibilities

  • Analysing data to gain deep understanding of market size, business models, profit structure, sales models across commerce-related SMB verticals
  • Designing & conducting impactful inbound research across SMB advertisers in commerce verticals to deeply understanding advertiser needs and behaviours
  • Defining classification & tiering methodology to further segment vertical / customer base
  • Developing tailored advertising strategies and narratives, including recommending operational or product-related solutions
  • Partnering with a wide range of cross-functional teams across the globe to seamlessly execute against the go-to-market plan

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

  • BA/BS degree or above
  • 5+ years experience working in e-commerce businesses, preferably in advertising, growth marketing, product marketing or go-to-market function
  • Good understanding of global advertising and business landscape, bonus points for understanding commerce-related advertising solutions specifically
  • A fast learner with a good sense of judgment and original thinking. Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust quickly to change.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A commercial mindset with a history of delivering against stretch performance goals.
  • Experience working with product teams and influencing the product roadmap with advertising products.
  • Experience driving end to end go-to-market planning and execution for advertising products.
  • Experience leading and delivering complex, cross-functional projects on fast-paced timelines.
