Job Description:
Summary:
The person in this position will work with multidisciplinary project teams providing mechanical engineering and related technical expertise in our Denver office. The work will primarily serve heavy industrial clients at oil and gas and/or power generation facilities. Other industries served may include mining, specialty chemicals, and manufacturing. Assignments may include system design related to fluid transfer, HVAC, heat transfer, and plant equipment layout; preparing design/construction drawings and specifications; completing engineering calculations and analyses; sizing and selecting equipment and components; writing technical reports; preparing sketches for system arrangement; developing details of designs; and preparing cost estimates and bid packages. The work may involve short-term, out-of-town assignments.

A hybrid work arrangement may be considered for this position. A hybrid work arrangement refers to splitting time worked between a Barr office and a home office. This position is based out of Barr's Denver, Colorado, office.

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $90,000–$120,000. Compensation will vary based on experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary cash bonus.
