We’re looking for a Mechanical Development Engineer to join our LiFi Engineering Team in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

As a Mechanical Development Engineer you’ll be responsible for the mechanical design (from concept development all the way up to manufacturing) of new Signify LiFi products.

What you'll do

• Participate in the entire product development process from concept to product release in the market.
• Mechanical design, development, testing, and documentation of new products, parts, and assemblies of LiFi products
• Design for manufacturability.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams (system engineers, opto-electronic engineers, thermal engineer, design team, process engineer and safety engineer) to ensure requirements are met in regard to cost, performance, safety. and compliance.
• Update and maintain development reports and generate innovative ideas.

What you’ll need

• or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related. 4+ years' work experience in product development.
• Strong mechanical background with knowledge of material properties, industrial metal and plastic tooling and has demonstrated a great drive for getting things done, on-time.
• Familiar with mechanical design software including parametric modelling, like NX.
• Excellent knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
• Ability to work in innovating and emergent technology domain.
