Sr Advanced Mech Design Engr 

This position requires expertise in CAD customization along with good technical knowledge and experiences in Mechanical design and product development. The candidate should be able to drive Automation to leverage cycle time improvements for Mechanical Designs, should have very good understanding of Mechanical Designs, Template based design approaches, Mechanical Design Standards. Candidate should be able to define the design processes, identify the automation opportunities and bring out the Productivity Savings through the generation of Design Guide Files and Product level Automations. Candidate should have hands-on experience in the CAD customization using NXOpen / C# .

• Expected Academic credentials and experience: 
• Bachelor’s / master’s degree in mechanical engineering
• 12-14 years of work experience in the areas of NX customization, Mechanical design and Analysis.
• Working experience with expert level in Siemens-NX, NXOpen, C++ / C#
• Thorough understanding of Full Product Development lifecycle in Aerospace
• Project identification, estimation, scheduling, and Stake holder management
• Drive projects cross functionally and cross site members, holding the end-to-end accountability for developing the customizations.
• Mentor junior members in the team
• Consistently capture the new learnings and record to ensuring the best-in-class Knowledge Management
• Experience in working with geographically distributed stake holders.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with employees at all levels

• Application knowledge of Teamcenter
• Good experience in GD&T and Tolerance Stack-up
• CREO Customization
• Ansys Customization
