What you’ll do

The HR Data Management Associate role primarily involves managing HR administrative processes and transactions for all SAP employees in Germany. The primary focus is on the day-to-day maintenance of personnel data. The associate might need to interact with key departments such as Local HR or Payroll. This part-time role (20 hours per week) is great fit for university students or working parents.

The responsibilities of the role encompass maintenance of employee data which includes:

  • Contractual variations – incl. handling of e-documents and hard copy documents handling (printing / shipping)
  • Personal data changes
  • One-off payment processing
  • Ensure information flow with all departments and functions in SAP, which are involved in data processing
  • Provide accurate and friendly advice and service to all customers, such as colleagues, employees, and managers
  • Work with other team members sharing knowledge on topics that require learning
  • Understand scope of services and Service Level Agreements for customers

Please note: The responsibilities listed above provide a sample of the role. The exact responsibilities will be assigned at the commencement of employment in relation to the working hours (20hrs/week).

What you bring

In this role, there are no specialized skills required but we do look for certain attributes in our ideal candidate.

  • Accessibility: The ideal candidate should have the capacity to commute and be present in the office at least three times a week. This is necessary for the onsite handling of hard copy documents and at the same time we believe it promotes teamwork and collaboration.
  • Language Proficiency: Good command of the English language, both written and spoken, is essential in this role. German language is nice-to-have. 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office: A basic understanding of Microsoft Office tools will be truly beneficial. This will assist with various tasks including document creation and data handling. 
  • Attention to Detail: This role requires a keen eye for detail. As an HR Data Management Associate, you'll thrive by paying close attention to the minutiae of data and information.

The HR Data Management team Germany is in charge of maintenance of all employee data of SAP colleagues in Germany – from hiring, through the whole employee life-cycle to termination. We are a multicultural and a diverse team of young professionals where everybody feels supportive and where we like to have fun no matter that we are split into two locations – one in Prague, the other in Walldorf in Germany. As much as the tasks allow, we are committed to fostering an environment of maximum flexibility for all team members.
