Summary

  • Position Summary
  • The Sr. Developer is responsible for the planning, programming development and management of product releases for web based products. Reporting to the Sr. Product Development Manager, the role will collaborate with the Digital team and key stakeholders across the MaineHealth system. The Sr. Developer will assist in defining the product vision, road mapping, development and identify growth opportunities.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, with an emphasis in computer science, engineering or a related field.
  • License/Certifications: N/A
  • Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in product management, development. 2-3 plus years supervisory experience preferred. Expert Experience in Content Management Systems. 5+ years of experience with Open Source development stack. Strong experience with API/Data Integrations, Javascript/CSS/HTML.
  • In-depth knowledge of development management processes and principles
  • Project/process management, account management or related capabilities are a plus.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to unexpected changes in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Must have excellent organizational, time management, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Creative thinker with a vision and attention to details
