We are looking for an experienced strategic marketing professional who can help support the growing needs of our loan originators and their clients. This person will build the marketing strategy, design and develop marketing campaigns, and carefully measure data analytics in order to create superior positioning and deliver accelerated results. While reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Sales Marketing Strategy Director will work closely with the Chief Revenue Office as well as with the head of the Greystone lending groups and will be measured on the results of the loan origination business.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead marketing efforts for all products that constitute the lending platform.
  • Design and implement strategies to drive acquisition, onboarding, and ongoing engagement for clients.
  • Develop positioning and marketing strategy for loan products with each client type in order to increase sales.
  • Utilize market research and competitive analysis to develop relevant market strategies.
  • Develop and maintain the sales tools needed for the client lifecycle and identify points to emphasize so that the sales pitch is more successful.
  • Develop and implement a content marketing plan geared to help customers run their businesses and establish Greystone as a trusted advisor.
  • Expand analytics around customer behavior to inform and improve targeted communications through multiple channels.
  • Develop and execute overall CRM strategy and communications plan.
  • Track all lending marketing activities and measure results.
  • Be the voice of the customer internally; inject their wants/needs into all discussions.
  • Ensure all written content is on-brand, with a consistent style, quality, and tone of voice.

Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Minimum of 15 years of marketing experience, with a minimum of 3 years of commercial real estate finance experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience running relationship/CRM/product marketing within a fast-growing B2B company.
  • Highly data-driven marketer with a proven track record of delivering CRM programs.
  • Proven track record of working at the strategic and tactical level to develop multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Problem-solver who uses critical thinking skills to quickly prioritize and effectively project manage multiple projects.
  • Experience leading successful content marketing, email, and lifecycle functions.
  • Demonstrated analytical rigor; ability to quantitatively analyze & optimize marketing programs.
  • Possess a strong bias for action and the ability to foster a results-driven mentality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in commercial real estate.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Marketing Cloud and Salesforce preferred).
  • BA/BS Degree.

Greystone offers a competitive base salary and bonus. The base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $200,000/year. The specific compensation that will be offered is based on an understanding of the hired candidates' qualifications at the time of hire. Employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on employee work performance reviewed during the annual review process.
