Responsibilities:
- Self-motivated, copywriter with an exceptional ability to write content that compels visitors to convert into leads
- A person who can grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Write search engine optimized website content / articles
- Develop and implement impactful off-page and on-page SEO content including title tags, meta descriptions, and optimized header tags
- Responsible for researching keywords, competitor content, and industry trends to optimize existing content and uncover new content opportunities
- Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
- Knows how to write SEO optimized blogs and landing pages
- You will be required to deliver clear concise and engaging articles that represent our brand
- We will provide technical requirements and topics, your task is to create a unique article based on the provided information
- Develop and maintain a clear and consistent brand voice. Develop and create effective, engaging concepts that support business objectives.
- Strong understanding of metadata and its direct impact on a website
- Ensure copy tone and style are consistent with visual tone and style. Create copy that adheres to established brand voice, tone, and guidelines while optimizing SEO best practices.
- Measure impact and provide next step roadmap (ongoing)
- Create compelling product and promotional stories. Write compelling (and SEO-optimized) product titles, keywords, and descriptions as new products are released. Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach.
- Collaborate with creative team members to determine the conceptual and copy direction of ROGUE’s branding, marketing, and advertising initiatives
- Work with Sales Team Leads to understand each customer segment. Write seasonal and evergreen campaign copy that speaks to the target audience based on briefs to support. Actively research our customers and competitors to find the best way to present our product and execute compelling storytelling and narratives seasonally and for live campaigns
- Stay on the cutting edge of culture, current events, and competitors as well as trends in marketing, content, digital, and advertising
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years’ experience, preferably in the fitness industry
- Fitness Experience (CrossFit, Olympic lifting, Powerlifting etc.)
- Ability to be a self-starter capable of operating semi-autonomously but always collaboratively
- Understand the dual relationship re: SEO & SEM and how one channel influences the other
- Team Player who is willing to contribute in any way needed
- Positive Attitude
- Strong Attention to detail
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Open / Curious when given feedback
- Constantly looking for ways to improve down to the detail
