The Role & The Team

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join the Product Marketing Team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies and ensuring the successful promotion and adoption of Seer’s Proteograph Product Suite. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Product Management. The position will work closely with a cross-functional team across Commercial, Customer Experience, Digital Marketing and Events, Research, and Data Science.

Responsibilities & Goals:

1. Strategic Marketing:

  • Own strategic marketing plans to drive product awareness, engagement, and revenue.
  • Develop comprehensive plans for launching new products and services across the Proteograph Product Suite and the Seer Technology Access Center.

2. Customer and KOL Relationship Management:

  • Identify, engage, and foster relationships with key knowledge and opinion leaders (KOLs) in the proteomics and proteogenomics communities.
  • Collaborate with KOLs on product feedback, publications, and engagement with Seer events such as webinars, roadshows, and conferences.

3. Messaging and Positioning:

  • Create and manage messaging and position for the Proteograph Product Suite, including internal message maps, customer personas, and other documentation.
  • Ensure consistent messaging is used in external facing assets such as whitepapers, websites, and sales collateral.

4. Product Expertise and Scientific Communications:

  • Develop a publication and technical collaboration strategy aligned with company priorities.
  • Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to exemplify applications of the Proteograph technology through peer-reviewed publications.

Background & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant Life Sciences product marketing or relevant experience; Masters / Ph.D. preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with building and maintaining relationships with KOLs and driving impactful collaborations
  • Solid technical understanding of proteomics and proteogenomic technologies; LC-MS experience preferred
  • Experience developing effective messaging and positioning for complex technologies in rapidly developing markets
  • Strategic thinking with a bias for action, able to champion complex problems and projects
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, excellent presentation skills
  • Willing to travel up to 20%

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.  
  • Must be able to wear PPE for prolonged periods 
  • Must be able to travel in car and plane 

At Seer, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between 160,000 and 180,000, and will depend on the candidates education, skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This position is also eligible for bonus, benefits, and participation in Company’s stock option plan.
