The Spirit of the Position:

The Financial Analyst –Government / University Services provides financial analysis for two complex national portfolios, recording data, identifying trends and generating insights for the assigned locations. This position reports directly to the Financial Director – Airport & Government / University Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the production of monthly client reports, statements, invoices, rent calculations, and rent payments to ensure accuracy and contract compliance.
  • Prepare and submit required reports for clients to Financial Director for review.
  • Report on client payment distribution to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform revenue reconciliations and follow up as needed on unreconciled variances.
  • Supply financial reports or analyses to onsite Government / University Services teams and clients as needed.
  • Provide detailed month-end variance analysis, identification of cost deviations, and EAC preparation and updates.
  • Support multiple contract types: Management Agreements, Leases, Fixed Fee, Time and Materials (Labor-Hour), and other hybrid models.
  • Work with internal and external audits to help resolve or adjudicate any adverse audit findings.
  • Review and audit daily logs, timecards, KPIs, LDs, and contract compliance.
  • Consolidate data from Business Intelligence system and produce monthly reports, charts, and graphs
  • Maintain a contract matrix to ensure contractual compliance
  • Continually review performance bonds, KPIs, MBE/DBE requirements, licenses, etc. to confirm each contract is complying with contractual agreement and deliverables.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive and compliant.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and budget data entry forms that are accurate, concise and easy to digest.

Experience and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related fields or equivalent work experience.
  • Master’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Five or more years of experience in financial management.
  • Experience in government finances or contracts preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills required, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
  • Internally Certified Pricing Analyst versed in GAAP, FAR, and IFRS standards and best practices.
  • Ability to mitigate and lead others to overcome challenges (Never Ever Give Up Attitude).
  • Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.
  • Some travel required but not considered frequent (less than 20%).
