New Univision Deportes, LLC in Los Angeles, CA seeks a full-time Reporter to investigate and report sports-related news. Collect and analyze facts related teams and players by interview, investigation, and/or observation. Speak and/or read from scripted materials, such as news reports for network television programs. Study and research background information related to teams in order to prepare for programs and/or interviews. Make promotional appearances at public and/or private events in order to represent Univision Deportes Network. Research and analyze background information related to stories in order to be able to provide complete and accurate information.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications, Journalism or related field, plus 2 years of experience in the occupation or as a journalist.
Must be fluent in written and spoken Spanish. Must have experience producing and editing television content. Must be well versed in boxing, MLB, NBA, NFL leagues and the PGA, ATP, WTA tours. Must be well versed in Liga MX soccer. Must have experience reporting and presenting televised sports news.
