Here’s the Gist:

As a RF Test Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting RF Wafer Test processes within the Fab and Test, Dice and Inspect areas.

This position will transition to MACOM as part of Wolfspeed’s plan to convey the RTP site.

The Day-to-Day

  • Develop, sustain and improve processes for electrical testing of wafers and devices for Wolfspeed’s RF Division.
  • Deliver robust and “user friendly” production test solutions. Generate and maintain complete process documentation and procedures for on-wafer testing for RF products.
  • Analyze data using sound statistical methodology to set up and calibrate test as well as monitor test integrity and stability for on-wafer test systems. Most of this analysis is done using the JMP platform.
  • Maintain calibrated test stations and probe cards to minimize tool down time. Diagnose problems and implement corrective actions for on-wafer test systems.
  • Design and execute electrical/mechanical experiments to improve measurement and process yields
  • Work with product development on test strategies that minimize wafer probe requirements while maintaining product integrity to specifications

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

  • High energy, self-motivated attitude with strong communication skills and an ability to interface effectively with different backgrounds, at every level of the organization
  • Strong attention to detail while effectively managing time
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • You will stand out with hand-on experience with testing equipment or ability to read and understand circuit schematics. Experience with programming (C#, .Net or VB)
  • You will stand out with experience with data analysis including SQL queries or software such as JMP
  • This position requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United Stated export control laws and regulations
