This two-year fellowship program will provide an excellent opportunity to gain unique and in-depth applied work experience in health and economic outcomes studies in immunology. The program will train a qualified candidate in health economic evaluation, outcomes research, decision sciences, and health policy analysis. The overall goal of the fellowship program is to help prepare the fellow for careers in pharmaceutical industry, academic, or consulting settings.

In the first year, the fellow will train at CEVR, located at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA.

The fellow will participate in data analyses, literature review, writing of abstracts and manuscripts for publication, and preparation of a grant proposal. At CEVR, the fellowship provides training under the direction of Peter J. Neumann, Sc.D. (CEVR’s Director), Joshua T. Cohen, Ph.D. (Deputy Director), Meng Li, Ph.D. (Project Director), and their colleagues. The fellow will collaborate with a team of health economists, clinical researchers, biostatisticians, and others in developing decision models, analyzing data, writing manuscripts, and preparing a grant proposal. The fellow will present findings in academic journals and at internationally recognized professional conferences.

In the second year, the fellow will work directly with argenx. The Program allows location flexibility for the second year of the fellowship. The fellow will be involved in developing strategy to generate evidence for products, managing HEOR projects, and presenting data to internal stakeholders and external customers and payers. The fellow will work on cross-functional team projects to gain experience with argenx’s products, procedures, policies, and work environment in order to learn how to function as a successful HEOR researcher within industry.
