We are searching for an experienced all-round Accountant to join our finance team in Vilnius, with a particular emphasis on Norwegian statutory requirements and language proficiency. 

The role is diverse and will cover all accounting disciplines, necessitating a deep understanding of Norwegian statutory requirements and a basic proficiency in the Norwegian language.

Job responsibilities: 

As an Accountant for Signicat, you will report to our Head of Accounting in Copenhagen. Your daily role will be diverse and cover all aspects of accounting, achieving deadlines across internal monthly closing, external reporting, and booking of AP invoices. We expect that you are ready to take ownership of your tasks. Naturally, you will work closely with colleagues from Group Business Control, FP&A, Group Accounting, and more, but the day-to-day work will be your responsibility and yours alone. As such, your duties will include, but not be limited to: 

• Ongoing accounting for Signicat, including accounts payable/receivable 
• Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting procedures in a timely and accurate manner 
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules 
• Payroll coordinator and first contact to the outsourced payroll company and our employees, acting as the first point of contact for any questions that may arise regarding salary 
• Develop and implement processes that are country-specific while assuring that Group processes are adhered to and implemented 
• Intercompany reconciliations 
• Managing VAT reconciliations and taxes 
• Ad hoc deep dive of accounts and transactions 
• Ensure data accuracy in Dynamics accounting 
• Other daily administrative tasks 

Requirements: 

• At least four (4) years of experience in an accounting role with a track record of taking ownership of current accounting and financial reporting preparation. 
• Prior experience with Norwegian GAAP and Statutory requirements. 
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, including MS Excel skills 
• Strong knowledge/interest in an ERP system (we are about to implement Dynamics365 FO) 
• A structured approach with an eye for details as well as for the whole picture and a positive impact interacting with colleagues 
• A good understanding of spoken and written Norwegian 
• A doer who takes ow initiative and feels a strong commitment and loyalty to their work

Salary range is between 3,000-4,000 eur gross / month, we are open to discussion based on your experience.
