Qorvo Sensor Fusion Business Unit is looking for a Staff Digital IC Design Engineer. In this role, the candidate is expected to be responsible for digital blocks of next generation analog front-end and integrated sensors circuits design. There will be exposure to field feedback through our solution team on potential requirements and feature upgrade. The candidate must be innovative and hands-on with creating solution through FPGA or MCU validation and finally implementation on silicon. The candidate will also be expected to scan test bring-up during final test. The success is measured by bringing the device from concepts to mass production.

Requirements:

• Expert in Digital IC design
• Proficient with FPGA, Verilog and Xcelium for design and verification
• Competent in Cadence design environment and Calibre/ASSURA verification flow
• Design experience with mixed signal IC with I2C/SPI protocol is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Digital blocks for mixed signal IC
• Process corner analysis
• Post PnR verification
• FPGA or MCU validation platform for new concepts
• Documentation of design results, characterization results and DFMEA

Must-Have Attributes:

• Team player

• Proven track record of innovation

Education:

• Master’s Degree or PhD in Analog IC Design
• 8+ rs Digital design exp

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $128,500- $167,000, relevant for the California Bay Area (subject to change dependent on physical location)

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
