About the Function:

As part of the LiveOps team, you will contribute towards some of the most important projects in the company that are pivotal to the success of our long-term product strategy. As the name suggests, the team owns two core product pillars - user data analytics and user segmentation.

About the Role:

As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you will participate in developing the application logic owned by the Insights and Segmentation team. From creating a simple tooltip to complex data-driven widgets for the visualization of massive datasets or creating and visualizing flexible and composite user segmentation, the engineer's role is to build robust software which is usable, intuitive, well-tested software documented and easily maintainable.

We are looking for a smart, friendly and open person that is able to get things done as well as being able to think systematically about products and processes.

What are we looking for:

Must Have:

  • 5+ years of experience developing rich applications with front-end technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML)
  • Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
  • Software development fundamentals, including testing, troubleshooting, and using version control systems
  • Understanding of best practices like responsive design, accessibility, performance, and separation of concerns
  • Understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
  • Familiarity with at least one component-based frontend framework (e.g. React, Vue, Angular 2+, or similar)
  • Experience interfacing with RESTful APIs, and using data interchange formats, such as JSON or XML
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to research and learn new software systems with minimal formal training
  • Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirementsAbility to prioritize; ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Ability to document and collaborate with other teams using project management software
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
