DESCRIPTION
As an Ops Display Process Engineer, you will own the development of Flat Panel Display (FPD) manufacturing process. You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in amazon to deliver the best in class product to delight our customers
Key job responsibilities
- Drive suppliers to develop a reliable, high-throughput, mass production-capable process that meets product quality specifications and throughput from proto to MP
- Lead the suppliers in evaluating and optimizing FPD process to achieve product quality,
- Hands-on experience with display lamination process and Cover Glass process will have an added advantage.
- Work with development engineering teams to identify/select the best method/process for mass production.
- Demonstrated ability to perform DOE, data analysis, SPC control
- Proven failure mode analysis, root cause investigation, and problem solving for product yield and quality issue.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills and proven leadership ability
- Excellent organization skill, documentation and be able to drive project towards critical milestone.
- Support GCM/SQM in supplier audits and qualifying new supplier

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree or above in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
- 7~15 years of display industry experience
- Hands on experience with display lamination process, touch sensor process and COG/FOG/COB bonding
- Cover Lens manufacturing process.
- Hands-on experience in the development of high volume manufacturing processes and equipment in the flat panel display or semiconductor industry.
- Able to understand display optical specs and can read and interpret engineering documents
- Working knowledge of failure analysis tools commonly used in FPD and semiconductor industry.
- Knowledge of Display related technologies and experience working with Display manufacturers on Process improvement projects.
- Good verbal & written English communication skills
- Business travel is required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
- Ability to manage multiple projects in several supplier locations.
- Hands on experience with display process technologies such as Display lamination process, touch panel lamination process, Sensor fabrication process, COG/FOG/COB bonding
- Cover Lens manufacturing process and Ink development for mask and ALS
- Process detail oriented with analytics skill skills to deep dive into solving process related trends and pattern
- Experienced with building DOE (designs of experiment) and then statistically analyzing data from DOE for decision making.
