The Corporate Tax department is responsible for all corporate income and indirect (transactional) tax matters within DHL Group. Global responsibilities are addressed by International Taxes and Indirect Taxes, whereas regional responsibilities are organized by area, led by Regional Heads. We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position at Jakarta, Indonesia.

Job Purpose:

Administer plans on tax related matters, tax compliance and accounting principles to maintain effective tax rates, minimize tax risk and improve cash flow in line with functional plans, business objectives, group policies, regulations and compliance requirements.

Your tasks:

  • Administer tax related processes, services and activities in compliance with laid down processes, controls, regulations and systems
  • Prepare tax returns, tax declarations and other required reports so that they are submitted accurately and on time
  • Make accounting entries and contracts, coding of tax bills, questions on tax filings or notices
  • Analyze tax laws and regulations to prepare technical reports on their impact on operations
  • Understand, stay updated and apply tax related best practices, processes, laws and regulation
  • Document and update department compliance policies and processes
  • Assist closure of tax audits form date of notice to completion including maintenance of audit ready documents
  • Prepare correspondence with external tax agencies and consultants such as auditors
  • Maintain tax information and records
  • Support external service providers for tax and compliance areas such as tax consultancy firms

Your profile:

Education Level

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification – S1 or D3 Accounting or Taxation Degree

Experience Level

  • 4-7 years
  • Preferably has both tax consultant and industry experience
