Embedded Software Development Engineer (Entry Level/Graduate)

Emergency Care Professional (EC Pro) products are integral to monitoring and providing medical therapy to patients in the pre-hospital environment.

Your role:

  • Supporting the software engineering for embedded electronic software EC Pro products: including leading and supporting software development activities and maintenance throughout the lifecycle, including playing a key role in release management.
  • Contribute to planning, specifications, support for customer investigations, software defect investigations, activities and enhancing system and software features and behaviour. 
  • Maintaining team relationships and working technically with software related suppliers and with counterparts in EC Pro.

You're the right fit if:

  • You are a (recent) graduate with Engineering degree in a relevant technical specialty and are at the start of your development career.
  • You feel confident to present, write and review engineering documents with good knowledge on continuous integration– GIT, SVN, etc.
  • Software verification/validation and the software development lifecycle (Agile/Waterfall) is a strength for you.
  • You have a flexible attitude, willing to accept and drive change, working with ambiguity, frequent change and with a rigorous approach to problem solving.
