Executive Director, SOC Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced leader to manage and guide our growing technology solutions team. The candidate will be responsible for defining and architecting end-to-end solutions for key technology areas and market verticals by defining use cases and technology investments while leveraging Synopsys product portfolio. This role entails managing a medium size team while defining technology roadmaps for disruptive technologies like Multi-die, Power, Automotive & System reliability. You will structure and grow the team around functional areas and solution expert.

The measure of success is creating Solutions from reference flows, optimized products, and complete solutions that customers and design teams can deploy on SOC, IP and package designs and in verticals like HPC, Automotive and Edge verticals.

• Structure & grow the team around functional areas and solution experts.
• Drive technology roadmaps and architect solutions that can be deployed at customers.
• Customer interactions when it comes to understanding technology requirements and trends.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess:

• Management experience and strong execution track record
• Strong and effective communication skills
• Effective at leading technical teams and results oriented.
• Strong cross functional management skills
• Experience in SoC design, EDA CAD flows and advanced technologies
• Packaging and Automotive experience is a plus.
• Familiar with SoC power methodologies
• Minimum 15 years of management experience in solutions/customer support/execution
• Excellent skills in multi-tasking, collaboration and communication in a global multi-cultural environment are required.
• High degree of self-motivation and personal responsibility
• MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or other relevant disciplines

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $262,000 to $394,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
