Digital Engineering & Product Lifecycle is a part of Digital Solutions, and accountable for developing and managing digital solutions within the area of Industry 4.0 and Product Life Cycle Management - from the management of master data to the utilization of extended reality, simulation, and configuration tools, and Industrial IoT. PTC Products is responsible for developing and managing digital solutions within PLM suite of PTC. Following the SCRUM framework and a product increment strategy, you will engage in a distributed team.

Responsibilities

  • Explore Windchill and Creo functionalities to achieve an efficient Overloaded & Configurable BoM
  • Understand the as-is state of the different modules and assess requirements and needs
  • Propose new ways of organizing our product, considering the upstream and downstream needs/constraints
  • Create Demos to highlight the applicability of different Windchill features to meet our goals
  • Re-think Vestas data model and BoM management. 
  • Creating required documentation (specifications, test cases, release notes, procedures, guidelines, etc.)

Qualifications 

  • Bachelors or Master in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or System Engineering or similar with 10+ years of work experience (e.g., Wind Energy, Automotive, and Aerospace preferred)
  • Experience with modular product development, product structure & architecture tools
  • Solid experience with BOM management
  • End-to-end understanding of ECM (Engineering Change Management)
  • Understanding of part and material Master Data to support BOM development 
  • Solid experience in ERP software(SAP), PLM software, and PTC Windchill preferred
  • Solid experience with Parametric Design using CAD software, Creo Parametric preferred
