The LIVE Operations team is obsessed with everything to do with TikTok LIVE. From content strategy, monetization, gifting, LIVE features, data analysis, creating campaigns and ensuring a fun and safe space for all of our LIVE users.

We are in search of an accomplished and results-oriented Content Ops Lead. This key team member will play a crucial role in elevating TikTok LIVE penetration through the strategic development of online and offline events, all while contributing significantly to the enhancement of our brand image.

Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Development:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Content Ops Managers, cultivating a culture of collaboration and high-performance.
  • Set and communicate strategic objectives, ensuring team alignment and continuous professional development.
  • Foster an environment of innovation and creativity, encouraging the generation of fresh ideas for content creation events.

2. Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop comprehensive country-specific marketing strategies to empower content creators through innovative online and offline events, aligned with overarching objectives and key results (OKRs).
  • Own and optimize the marketing calendar and budget, with a keen focus on resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to synchronize strategies and ensure flawless execution.
  • Spearhead the identification and evaluation of emerging trends and opportunities in the content creation space.

3. Excellence in Execution:

  • Work synergistically with other TikTok LIVE teams and cross-functional partners (XFNs) to amplify activations, fostering a unified and integrated approach.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of events, from ideation to execution, ensuring seamless operations, and providing real-time problem-solving during events.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key creators, partners, and industry stakeholders to enhance collaboration and broaden reach.

4. Brand Image Amplification:

  • Infuse activations with principles from branding, marketing, and advertising to elevate visibility and foster a positive brand image.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of performance metrics and user feedback, employing insights to continually refine and optimize strategies.
  • Collaborate with the PR team to develop compelling narratives around events, ensuring a consistent and positive brand voice.

5. Data Driven Decision Making

  • Implement data-driven approaches to assess the success of events and campaigns, using analytics to refine and enhance future strategies.
  • Collaborate with the data analytics team to establish KPIs and monitor the performance of content creation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in content operations, marketing or related roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and developing teams.
  • Fluent in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive experience in planning, executing, and overseeing online and offline events.
  • Capability to manage multiple events simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in managing marketing budgets and calendars effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation for maximum impact.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and insights.
  • In-depth understanding of branding, marketing, and advertising principles, as well as a keen awareness of current trends and innovations in the digital marketing and content creation space.
