Business Development Manager (m/f/d) - Industrial Strategy

What you will do

  • Drive analysis on market development (volumes, size), customer base, supply chain and application trends within selected Industrial sub-markets and provide regular stakeholder updates
  • Grow our Industrial application expertise (PV, UPS, Robotics, etc.) by driving detailed BOM analysis in close cooperation with our applications teams to assess Nexperia’s TAM and work out white spots across our product portfolios
  • Establish and grow our Nexperia-specific market data base
  • Lead our Industrial segment strategy and define go-to-market approaches for its sub-markets (Power & Energy, Automation, etc.)
  • Stay on top of our go-to-market activities together with our product groups and regional Business Development colleagues
  • Maintain overview of Industrial design-in efforts and escalate in case critical milestones are at risk
  • Support the GSM DeepDive process with analysis on internal and external market developments
  • Identify and engage (new) customer potentials outside Nexperia’s direct customer base incl. reference design houses
  • Facilitate product qualification for existing customers with application-insights and collateral that covers our complete portfolio
  • Support cross-Nexperia projects and coordinate strategic initiatives together with our Business Groups and our Strategy Office
  • Support governance of transnational accounts to assure efficient communication between OEM Account teams and ODM support
  • Organize global segment events

What you will need

  • Master’s degree in electrical/industrial engineering, physics, or economics
  • Minimum 7 Years working experience in a similar role
  • Experience in Business Development, (technical) Sales, Product Marketing or Application Engineering roles
  • Expertise within industrial semiconductor market and understanding of Nexperia’s product portfolio
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and strong communication
  • An analytical mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, requiring

strong multi-tasking skills

  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
