Responsibilities

  • Invoice control vs. purchase order
  • Supplier management
  • Statutory and management accounts: Revenues, Employment costs, Overheads, Commissions
  • Postings in the accounting system
  • Customer Invoice submission
  • Cash Collection follow-up
  • Transfer Pricing Invoice accounting and reconciliation
  • Closely work with sales and commercial to support the business and the revenues management
  • Answer their requests (customers up to date with payment, small reports with state of licenses bought & price per license)
  • Administrative tasks: Payment control/Overdue follow up, New supplier template to fill in for customers, financial health of new customer checked through Payment organism
  • Tax and Fiscal management (with the assistance of our external accountant): coordinate Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Tax Declarations
  • Supervise the staff Expenses management (SAP Concur)
  • Check the postings in the accounting system
  • Bank transfer preparation
  • Bank management
  • Reconciliation and control
  • Establish a weekly cash forecast
  • Month end / Half year / End year closing: Balance sheet control, provisions follow up, costs allocation, accuracy of the analytical information, load data into the consolidation systems, report to the group in IFRS,
  • Ensure quality and quantitative management and ad-hoc reporting (consolidation, forecasts)

Skills & Qualifications

  • It is anticipated that you will have a 3rd Level Accountancy qualification
  • 5 years of accounting experience
  • Turkish mother tongue is essential
  • Advanced level of written and spoken English (written, oral, email)
  • You will have strong communication skills in all forms -
  • You must be:
  • detailed oriented, very meticulous
  • able to prioritize and flexible
  • open to learning, fast learner and curious
  • Experienced Tax/Social in Turkey (you will have the assistance of an external advisor)
  • You may have Accounting system knowledge

ERP and Reporting Skills

  • Oracle Fusion
  • HFM
