Summary

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst I - FP&A to join our team at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct financial review and analysis of productivity and compensation for physicians employed by MGC. Operating with minimal supervision, the Financial Analyst I - FP&A will demonstrate the ability to tackle complex problems while optimizing the use of available financial tools. Regular interaction with managers and physicians will be essential. Additionally, this position will involve reviewing revenue and expenditures related to physician practices and validating financial statements.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting

License/Registration/Certifications:

  • Proficiency in Excel and a high understanding of database programs

Preferred Requirements:

Preferred Education:

  • Master's degree in a Business related field

  • Ensure accuracy of financial analysis, data files, and reports
  • Prepare and review productivity reports
  • Conduct month-end financial review and analysis
  • Perform detailed analysis of revenues and expenditures
  • Support and manage project analysis as assigned
  • Assist in the annual budget process by accurately and timely performing financial and operational roles
  • Utilize Excel, Word, and PowerPoint effectively
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned
