About the Role

Align with the aim of accelerating OA transformation and building direct-to-researcher marketing, this position will work closely with digital marketing, Sales team, Customer success team in China and globally to influence Elsevier Research communities and unlock researcher market potential.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and implements marketing strategies and programs in collaboration with cross function business teams to drive business growth of Elsevier research portfolio products & services.
  • As the owner of the researcher customer journey engaged, he/she will be responsible for managing end-to-end customer value stories from solutions to service portfolio perspective.
  • As a researcher marketing role, he/she will explore a range of marketing approaches including but not limited to value-based engagement, usage insights, user communities, thought-leadership content, KOLs engaged, life-cycle marketing and testimonials from users and researcher community.
  • Manage marketing campaigns from idea generation to completion. Define work timeline and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the outcome delivery.
  • Innovate the way we work by leveraging new Martech tools to increase effectiveness of marketing activities (offline + online).

Requirements

  • University degree or above, preferably with academic background.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years’ marketing experience is required.
  • B2B marketing experience with strong focus on value proposition, KOL and customer engagement in research market is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse and global stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  • Must be a detail-oriented, confident self-starter with project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communications skills. Fluent in English and native in Chinese
