Job Summary:

Supermicro Server Lab team is looking for a talented Hardware Validation Engineer to perform validation testing on server motherboard and system. The candidate will be working with team members to design, develop and perform test plans and procedures according to the SOP and will also record and deliver specific characterization reports based on the issues in software and hardware for in-house products. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

• Perform motherboard and system validation test
• Perform hardware, software, functional testing with test tools such as Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Function Generator, etc.
• Report hardware and software quality issues into bug tracking systems
• Record and update validation report on each performed task
• Contribute to validation test plans and test cases preparation
• Research root cause and solution of the quality issues which were discovered

Qualifications:

• BS/MS in EE, CE, or CS with 3 years of working experience in Hardware Validation or related is strongly desirable
• Familiar with Measuring Instruments such as Oscilloscope, etc.
• Must have strong inter-personal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal is required
• Must possess excellent teamwork, demonstrating problem solving and prioritization skills
