The New York Post is looking for a Los Angeles based Reporter (Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm PST) to help expand our digital coverage. The right candidate will be an enterprising journalist who can find, report and write eye-catching exclusive stories from across California. We’re looking for a self-starter with a lot of drive, a brimming contact book and a keen eye for the angles which appeal to The Post’s ever-expanding readership.
The ideal candidate must be self-sufficient, full of ideas — the kind of person who’s willing to comb through lawsuits, knock on doors, work the phones, ask tough questions and do whatever else it takes to find and nail the story. They need a knack for spotting under-the-radar local stories which will appeal to a national audience, be able to provide on-the-scene reporting when big news breaks and write it all in The Post’s unique voice.

Salary Range: $50,000 – $90,000
