Overview of the Senior Financial Analyst

As a member of the Corporate Finance Team, you will take an active role in key financial processes, including month-end close activities, reporting of key performance indicators, forecast planning, and financial decision support for executive leadership and key stakeholders. You will work in close partnership with business partners providing full financial support and applying business and analytical skills to ensure sound financial decisions are made.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting month-end close process, financial forecasting, and budgeting for total company and corporate shared services through variance analysis, preparation of month-end accruals, and partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Analyzing current and past trends in key performance indicators including revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses, and capital expenditures. Providing strategic insights, hypotheses, and conclusions based upon this analysis.
  • Developing insightful financial presentations for Executive Management to concisely summarize performance and highlight key business components.
  • Investigating, analyzing, and presenting recommendations regarding various special projects related to business operations from a broader corporate scope.

Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or a related degree
  • 2-4 years relevant work experience in a financial role;
  • Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and PowerPoint; advanced financial modeling skills
  • Self-motivated, flexible, positive attitude, and intellectually curious. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; innovative, organized, and thorough.
  • Strong ability to turn data into actionable insights 
  • Ability to perform work onsite in the San Francisco office full-time pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The expected starting pay rate for this position is $100,000 - $110,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
