Positions Location: Lansing, MI
General Purpose of Job: This individual works closely with Senior Leadership and Management to identify market opportunities, understand market intelligence and competitive intelligence to implement marketing programs and initiatives for PHP to achieve growth and sales objectives.
This individual will report to, and work closely with, the VP of Business Development, as well as sales managers at PHP to assess the competitive landscape and develop an annual marketing plan to best position PHP and achieve market growth. This person will coordinate activities with Sparrow Marketing ensure alignment of goals and activities with the marketing plan and to ensure brand standards for the health system are maintained.
Essential Duties:

Work Experience • A minimum of five years previous experience in healthcare marketing. • A minimum of two years previous leadership experience. • Knowledge of health care market dynamics including finance, service delivery and consumer demand necessary • Experience in creative development and implementation including working with and managing advertising agencies. Education • A four year degree in advertising, marketing or related area of study Specialized Knowledge and Skills • High degree of analytical and problem solving skills. • Individual must be able to perform with minimal direct supervision and demonstrate an ability to self-motivate. • Technical knowledge, skills and abilities in media planning, purchasing and analysis; desktop publishing, computer skills and familiarity with all Microsoft software • Demonstrated skills in communications, plan development and writing, and presentating to audiences of all types and backgrounds
