Apex Systems is seeking a Design Architect for an exciting opportunity with our Healthcare and Environmental client!

Facility Design Architect

• Location: San Antonio
• Duration: 6mo contract-to-hire
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical engineering or architecture
• 3+ years of experience managing facility design projects
• Capable of obtaining professional registration (i.e., Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA)) in the State of Texas within two years of employment.
• Wide range of facility and infrastructure design, cost estimating, facility condition assessment, construction management, and environmental experience.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including MS Project

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer registration in civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, or structural engineering or Registered Architect
• Federal Government contracting experience
• Working knowledge of UFC standards and SpecsIntact
• Business development and SF330 proposal writing skills
