Responsible for all phases of large-scale assigned process or manufacturing improvement projects, ensuring the successful conclusion of all phases within an appropriate time and at appropriate cost. Implements process improvements to meet quality standards, designs and conducts feasibility studies, and solves problems. Creates necessary documentation and aides in communication to personnel. Serves as an expert resource to other engineers and coordinates all work within the scope of assigned projects. Role typically requires between 8 and 12 years of experience.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for directing the design and integration of technology supporting new product introduction projects; coordinates project work to meet completion time and cost constraints to the satisfaction of the sponsor.
• Incorporate high quality, cost-effective solutions into project deliverables.
• Develop and execute Design Validation Plans based on program objectives.
• Effectively communicate the status of the technical program to project sponsors.
• Execute in a matrix-based organization, responsible for delivering system-level technologies to the project lead.
• Support continuous improvement quality projects to improve productivity and warranty claim reduction.
• Provide support to supplier quality related issues that require design intent validation.
• Support division financing by project plans to potential sponsors.
• Coach, advise and guide other technical staff members.
• Effectively apply adaptive thinking to create unique solutions to assigned problems.
