Quality Control Specialist

You will be working as Quality Control Specialist at global grade 15 and will be part of Electrification business area for Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Quality Control Manager and will be responsible for leading low voltage products PPS (practical problem solving) to prioritize and solving the quality issue from customer claim, production line, implement the short term and long-term solution on time and quality.

Your responsibilities

• Attending customer complaint tickets and ensuring that they are responded in time
• Interacting with zonal service engineers, factory quality team, complaint logging team for resolution of the tickets and taking necessary actions to resolve the complaints
• Analyzing the defective received from customer and providing 8D/Analysis report to the customer
• Handling of all complaints related to electronic parts and providing resolution to them along with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) wherever required
• Collaborating with supplier and manufacturing quality team to ensure CAPAs of issues observed
• Verifying of authorized service personnel (ASP) visit reports and providing technical inputs and information required for resolving the tickets

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in low voltage switchgear or similar manufacturing industries
• Experience of analyzing electronic components used in LV products like electronic releases, PCBAs etc
• Experience and knowledge of various communication protocols like Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet and IEC 61850 standard
• Knowledge of low voltage switchgear products like ACB, MCCB, Switches, Fuse gear, Control gear, pilot devices, soft starter, UPS etc
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
