As a Displays Software Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the remote piloting software team. This team is responsible for building the pilot-facing application software that is used to command the aircraft's advanced automation systems — both onboard, and remotely. You will join a team of interdisciplinary and mission-driven engineers with experience across aerospace, robotics, and self-driving vehicles.
Responsibilities
In your role as a Displays Software Test Engineer, you will drive the development and buildup of simulators, testbeds, and supporting software tools used for pilot training and human-in-the-loop testing. You will also support the release and verification process for flight software, a critical function of our flight test program. You will work in a highly collaborative environment and coordinate multiple engineering teams across the company as you develop test plans, execute tests, investigate issues, and drive problems to closure. You will also have the opportunity to develop automated test cases and frameworks, and support the development of flight test UI software as needed. This is a hands-on role, involving the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of simulators and testbeds.
Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time.
The estimated salary range for this position is $162,500 to $248,500. At Reliable Robotics, we strive to provide competitive and rewarding compensation based on experience and expertise, as well as market conditions, location, and pay equity.
