Summary:

Entry Level Bottling Equipment Operator: must be able to observe the assigned machine without direct supervision and supply the machine with the appropriate dry goods. You will perform general cleaning of the machine while following standard operating procedure.

Reports to: Bottling Supervisor and/or Bottling Manager

Classification: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Requirements

You Will:

  • Production logs: Records the dry goods information on the usage logs and records all applicable downtime for their area of responsibly and provides report to Lead or Supervisor prior to shift end.
  • Bottling Line Cleanup: Responsible for facilitating rework / reconditioning, general clean up and housekeeping of any assigned area(s).
  • Monitors the operation of the assigned machine.
  • Reports any mechanical issues immediately to Line Lead or Supervisor.
  • Detect and remove defective materials and items from the line.
  • Change Overs and machine Set Up’s: Is responsible to change over/set up their machine for new products or change overs.
  • Understanding of MRM: Ability to fully read and understand the MRM dry good requirements and specifications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

You Have:

  • Must have a good attendance record and work performance standard.
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English and operate PLC, HMI and other applicable computer technology associated with bottling/production equipment as instructed.
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
  • Must be able to work all shifts; this includes swing shift and/or graveyard shift, if and when necessary.
  • Must be able to communicate with Production Manager, Supervisor or Line Lead, Bottling Maintenance Technician and QA of any issues that arise.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Walk, stand for long periods of time,
  • The employee frequently is required to use hands and fingers, to handle, or feel, sit for long periods of time, stand frequently, bend, squat, reach and turn.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
