Think Silicon is headquartered in Greece with offices in Patras, Athens and Santa Clara, North America. Since Think Silicon’s founding in 2007 we have continued to expand our team globally and we are actively recruiting a Manager IP Sales in North America.

We are looking for a Senior IP Sales Manager with strong sales & negotiation skills who is interested in taking over and build new strong sales channels for our IP graphics hardware/software and ML accelerator product line, to win customer sockets for the next-generation embedded GPUs for graphics and ML applications. Our ultra-low power GPU architecture has been used to build and deploy leading solutions for a broad range of display based connected end point applications, graphics engines, visual computing for embedded consumer and industrial systems for wearables in sports, healthcare, home automation, entertainment, AR/VR/MR and datacenter.

Job responsibilities will include building and managing a healthy sales pipeline focused on driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record and background that enables them to lead a sales effort that will include teaming with Product Management, Marketing, Hard & Software and Application Engineers, R&D and Legal.

The successful candidate will possess a technical background that enables them to drive engagement and interact with the Customers’ management, as well as a technical understanding that enables them to easily interact with developers, architects, and engineers. He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally to build consensus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and market share and meet or exceed quarterly/annual targets.
  • Explore new Business Development opportunities and accomplish design-ins with new customers and projects.
  • Lead and manage complex contract negotiations along with the core sales and legal organization.
  • Develop and execute against a sales plan.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Work with customers/partners to extend reach & drive adoption of Think Silicon IP solutions.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships expand the use of Think Silicon solution across all customer business units and respective roadmaps.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Expect 35% travel in NA

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technology-related sales or business development experience
  • BA/BS degree Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience required.
  • Design or Applications background on GPU, CPU, DSP
  • Technical understanding of Computer Graphics concepts and standards
  • Embedded Software experience is preferred with a solid foundation in software aspects of solutions (e.g., RTOS, Mbed, Linux, Android, WearOS, Khronos API specifications OpenGL/CL, Vulkan, glTF and abstraction layer, including enablement from 3rd party software graphics backend providers and open GUI libraries like Qt, LittleVGL,
  • Understanding of systems in Machine Learning for embedded EDGE applications using TinyML/TensorFlow lite
  • Plus, Technical understanding of MIPI specifications (Display, Camera, Physical layer)
  • Good understanding of IoT/Edge & Mobile consumer space and industrial markets (Wearables, Embedded Display/Camera, Mobile) and their strategy, ASICs/ASIC vendors and Foundries
  • 5+ years direct field experience working with enterprise accounts.
  • 3+ years working domain experience in computer graphics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or related technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A technical background in engineering, semiconductor design, product management a plus
  • FAE / former FAE transitioning into IP licensing business.
  • Proven track record of success driving adoption of disruptive technologies within high-tech industry accounts.

U.S. Salary Range:

$248,000.00 - $341,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
